Hi Duet Knitters...

Just wanted to give a quick reminder to all you designers out there that the deadline for your designs and a chance to win a spot in the next round of the Lucky Lurker Club is July 15th! Keep those Skinny, Middy and DK submissions coming!

Sign ups for the next round of Lucky Lurker begin on July 18th for current Lurkers and the 21st for open sign ups. As always, there are only a certain number of spaces available because of my dyeing process, so grab your space when you can.

One final reminder is washing care for your Duet Socks! They are superwash so you can toss them right into the wash machine if you want! I suggest turning them inside out if you are washing them with everything else (a suggestion that a pair of shorts with velcro that grabbed onto my socks and chewed up reminded me to do). Also, though every skein of yarn has been rinsed, rerinsed and rinsed some more, I do recommend an initial hot water vinegar bath soak as soon as your socks are done. Not only is vinegar a natural fabric softener, vivid colors (like reds, fuscia and turquoise especially) can be caused bleed by certain detergents.
