Hi, I am Angela and I am the girl behind A Swell Yarn Shop and the creator of Duet Yarns!
Duet Yarns were a little yarny idea I cooked up right in my own kitchen. I was already hooked on knitting socks, but I wanted my socks to be unique and different from everyone else's hand knit socks.
That's when I started playing with the dyes and making solid colored yarn and variegated yarn. The coordinating heel and toe yarn was born.
I took this creation to my booth at Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival and my Duet Yarns sold out in the first hour. So I made more and put them on the website and they sold out. Now you can find Duet Yarns not only on my website but also in retail shops all over.
I have a blast making these yarns, I have the best customers in the entire world and I send a portion of the Lucky Lurker Club membership to animals in need...can it get any better than that?!
